Background and Objective: One of the major problems faced by large cities today is the crime of robbery. Meanwhile, robbery of commercial opportunities, while increasing material and spiritual costs in the community, will endanger the security and security of citizens. Despite the fact that the police are using popular capacities to reduce the theft of commercial premises, there are some challenges in this regard, which aims to exploit electronic equipment in the prevention of theft of commercial premises.
Methodology: The method used in this research is a survey. Data were collected using a questionnaire and using a targeted method from 40 shop owners in Yazd city. Finally, completed questionnaires were entered into the SPSS program and analyzed.
Results: The findings of the study showed that the potential potential of using electronic equipment in commercial buildings and urban buildings in reducing or preventing theft was less attention. Electronic equipment was less than half of the shops, and the quality of cameras and other electronic equipment was modest. The wisdom of most shopkeepers was modest in the use of electronic equipment.
Conclusion: The results of the research indicate that, depending on the type of business location and the type of goods supplied at that location, they should use the appropriate electronic equipment to create a kind of space, allow for high monitoring or access to corrupt areas of theft Reduced.
